I am 18 weeks pregnant & had a horrible anxiety attack. I couldn’t breathe, was shaking like a leaf, had a horrific headache and couldn’t stop crying (an argument with “Daddy” paired with raging hormones led to a – needless to say – bad night). I hardly got more than 3 hours of sleep, but the next morning, everything was fine – minus the puffy “frog eyes” and exhaustion. However, I’ve never had anything like this happen before and I’m worried about how this may have affected the baby. Should I be concerned? Is the baby probably all right? I haven’t really felt him move yet or anything, so I can’t tell by that. The ultrasound he had a week and a half ago was great, as was his fetal heartbeat (doctor said it was very strong). I’m still nervous about how he might be doing now, though. Also, what can I do to keep from having another attack? I seem to be oversensitized to the EXTREME by everything. I cry happy, I cry sad… it seems all I do anymore is cry. Any advice for a 1st timer?
